I have one for ya, Friday I had to work and hubby was home, so I threw a turkey breast in a slow cooker and left instructions for him along with a meat thermometer. He said the first time he checked the internal temp, he knew it should have read at a higher temp- he forgot to remove the red plastic cover that you store the thermometer in. Um derrrrr. malachitecat Posted December 26, 2005 Author Share Posted December 26, 2005 finally admitted to SO what I did with the ham and he said he was wondering why it took so long to get done (5 hrs for a 13 lb ham) :) but in the end it finally got done just before everyone got here and turned out really good because it soaked that much longer in the ton of glaze I put on it. sheli Posted December 26, 2005 Share Posted December 26, 2005 My ham said cook at 325 for 1 hour, but over 1.5 hrs later it wasn't done. Had to cut it and microwave it.
