"The Leftovers" thread... What's collecting dust in stores?

Went to both the Walmart Supercenters here this morning and between the two there was lots and lots of BF items left.  I was shocked quite honestly because normally by this time these 2 Supercenters are back to normal so to speak

 

Here's what I found leftover:

*Rubbermaid storage containers

*An entire end cap full of the Garth Brooks boxed set (not really surprised at this)

*Tons of the Keurigs   (2 pallets full at one store alone)

*3 of the 60" Vizio TV's

*A pallet full of the hockey tables

*an end cap full of the toaster ovens

*sheet sets  (what?!?!, these are never left over here)

*probably 30-40 boxes of the huge $10 boxes of Russell Stover candy

*tons of movies/TV shows

*PJ's of all sizes and ages

*about 20 of the genie bras

*HUGE bin of the colorful fashion socks

 

 

Target still had tons of movies/TV Shows in their BF displays but no sign of any other leftovers that I could see

I had to run up to Target for a few things, and was shocked to see how many pallets of Black Friday items were left everywhere. Everything seemed to be back up to regular price from what I could tell.  Do you think they'll discount these things again?  I mean, they have a ton left. I've never seen it like that before.  How many years did we all scramble to get our hands on this stuff in the middle of the night on Thursday/Friday and now it's all just sitting around.  You could have walked into Target at 5 am Friday morning like you used to and gotten almost everything on your list, I bet. I've never seen so many movies left over, either. Seasons of shows of everything.  All still in the BF pallet boxes but all back to regular price. Video games too.   I took some pics but they don't really do justice to just how much stuff was everywhere.

My mom is at our other Target and said they have a bunch of stuff, too.  TV's everywhere. 

 

So what do you guys think the plan is with those? Do they mark them back down?  I would be willing to grab one of the 32" for my son's bedroom to replace his TV if it went down to like $100-$120 I think.

The Walmart in the next town over from where I live still has tons of dvds. I got Bridesmaids this morning for the sale price but when my son went in they told him they were no longer on sale. The dvds are still out in the middle of the isle with the colored dots on the boxes indicating the price of all the dvds but he wasn't able to get them for the sale price. Said there was several associates standing there.

I stopped by Wal-Mart on Saturday. This isn't usually one I shop at...super busy, disorganized, and much closer to my work than my house. There was a bunch of stuff leftover but the thing that really caught my attention was the mile long return line and the mountains of stuff that has been returned. It was amazing! Probably could have found just about everything that was on sale in all of those carts of returns. Might have to go back and look after work this week.

This is EXACTLY what mine looked like... Element TV's everywhere!

My Walmart still had two full boxes of sheets in the aisle, appliances, rubbermaid containers and DVDs.  I heard some woman arguing with an employee in the electronics department because the movies marked PROMO were not ringing up BF prices.  I didn't see any prices marked on the merchandise still in the aisles.

Promo DVDs were on the shelves at normal prices at my local walmart.  Still had PJ's, picture frames, and the chest's in the middle aisles for BF prices I believe.  Didn't look too long because I wanted to get home before the temperature plummeted.

Finally made it back to Walmart yesterday.  They had tons and tons of those art/craft sets, pre-school games, scooters, video games (I think they were the $10 ones), some movies, dress up clothes, and more.  I didn't see too many of the televisions or anything, but we live in a small town so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Walmart had the tablets, printers, and tons of other stuff. The cheap TVs were gone. Movies were no problem, always available except where deception took place as in my previous thread. The Steelbook Blurays were plentiful and are now on secondary sellers lists on Ebay and Amazon!

I went to my local Walmart, and there was hardly anything left that I could tell.  I went to the electronics department looking for a left-over $16 Mach mp3 player, but there were none.  I did manage to find the $49 Nikon camera and bought it.  There were some pjs left and some other clothing pieces from the sale, but that was about it.

I saw the cardboard display boxes that still had slippers in them, and a PILE of Garth Brooks box sets...really??? WHY do they insist on making this yearly item?? lolol

 

I do envy those of you who are posting that the items were available later in the day/weekend/and now; things go very quickly here

My Walmart still has 2 huge boxes of sheets for $24.96.  They took down most of the other cardboard display boxes.  That's the only thing I saw that's still at a BF price.  The prices have increased on other BF leftovers.  

 

Oh yeah, we have tons and tons of the Garth Brooks gift sets as well!
