mmouse1 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I don't know if this has already been discussed - this year at the Walmart I went to they had a line for all the movies and let people I 10 at a time to go get what you wanted. Did anyone else have that?
ytmomof4 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Had the same thing in ohio but they let 15 at I time.dumb if you ask me
bossy1 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Had the same thing here...but only 5 at a time with no time limit...was a disaster...They also roped off half the store for register check out...No one could move or get from one place to another because all aisles were blocked...This is not a case of "blackFriday" crowds ,I know the difference I've been doing BF for at least 20 years.Wal-Mart really messed it up this year, worst time I have had at WallyWorld ever.
zoemonstr Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Ours was a free for all but they didn't even have some of the movies out racks were empty they brought out a cart full about 7 pm what a mess
flyjar Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I went to Walmart (and all of my other stores for that matter) after 12am Friday and had no problem getting any movies (DVD, Blu-ray) that I wanted.
KBsDarling Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 They did the few at a time for movies as well at my WM also had like 4 other areas roped off with random items you had to wait in line to get into area...i would say 5 people at a time too....Nearly lost my gourd with this system! What a disaster! No way to know if the item you want in roped off area is all gone so you have to stand weaving through aisles till you get into area...horrid idea. I get they are trying to prevent people getting smushed but this was not an ok solution
elena_398 Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I was able to get all 8 movies I wanted online. I actually just went to the site to store pick up last night and got them. Took forever to find them with all the layaways. Over 25 minutes to find my package. Yikes
gbeenie Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 elena_398; Yeah, I did the exact same thing. Having to wait a little was STILL worth not leaving my house for Black Friday.
