My daughter is in desperate need of a new computer, does anyone know if this computer is any good? what does 2000-2D09wm mean? PLEASE any info would be GREATLY appreciated. Have a blessed day

They are fine if you just want to do basic stuff. I have a cheapo from WM 3 years ago & it works great still.

This is a fantastic computer for the price.  The only reason you would need more/different is if you used it as a gaming computer.  People spend easily $1000 on those to get the fastest processors, loaded ram, high end graphics cards etc.

 

I am using a dell with similar specs right now and am in nursing school and do the general surfing etc and have never had a problem with that type of processor/ram/hard drive limiting what I need.

 

If she is a student, you can download a free program called open office that saves files in microsoft compatible formats so that you can turn in papers and do spreadsheets and presentations without spending a couple hundred more for a full microsoft office license

Shows available online, doesnt say OOS on my screen, but no option to add to cart, hmm....

It took me about an hour this morning but I was able to get one at about 3:15 am.. I just kept hitting the refresh button and eventually one showed in stock and I was able to order it for home delivery.
