Guest beatmix01 Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Here is what I am looking for. A B/W or Color monitor to replace our existing security camera monitor which blew up. It would be preferable if it has a BNC input, otherwise I have a BNC to RCA adapter that should do just fine. My budget is $100. I am looking too so lets see what we can come up with!
Brad Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Is there a particular size screen you need? How many video inputs? I'm looking but all of them so far have come with camera(s)...
RossMAN Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Hehe at first I thought the title read "b/w monitor" as in bandwidth monitor
Guest beatmix01 Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 Well, I am not so sure how necessary the monitor is anymore because I think there may be something wrong with either our Time Lapse deck or our security camera, so I might need to go look for a new security system here.
Guest beatmix01 Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Ended up the security monitor was not broken, someone kicked out the camera's A/C adapter on the other side of the office. I fixed it all for free!!!
bockchow Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 what exactly was this thing securing? hopefully nothing to important.
Guest beatmix01 Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 It was a closed circuit video camera that watched our front door to our office 24/7. However it stopped working for about 2 months, and I was notified about it when I made the post. Whatever contractor originally set it up was the furthest thing from smart. That power adapter should have been hard-wired into the power lines.
