GottaDEAL Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004

Brand new model - Amazing price! Amazon has the brand new Toshiba 30HF84 30" Widescreen HD-Ready TV for just $716.99 with FREE SHIPPING. Sells for $899+ most places. This is Toshiba's replacement for the 30HF83. They moved the speakers to the bottom to save space. It also comes with a HDMI digital input.

Toshiba's compact widescreen 30HF84 brings super-clear High-Definition pictures to smaller spaces: a den, bedroom, office, or even a corner of the living room. Because its stereo speakers are located below the screen rather than on the sides, this widescreen tube TV has a fairly narrow cabinet. If you're wondering how your current A/V cabinet can make the transition to digital TV, get out your tape measure -- you may find that the 30HF84 is just right. Built around Toshiba's FST PURE® flat picture tube, the 30HF84 looks fantastic displaying HDTV programs and DVDs, but naturally, standard video sources look terrific, too.

Toshiba 30HF84 30" Widescreen HD-Ready TV w/ HDMI - $716.99 Shipped - Amazon.com

Discuss the deal in this thread.
Brad Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Anyone considering HDTV should jump on this now. I can't see Amazon keeping this price for long. I've been researching these models and this price is extremely low. Free shipping makes it even better.
RossMAN Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Brad is absolutely correct, if you don't believe us look at the prices on PriceGrabber.com.
RossMAN Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 This is back in stock, get it while it's hot :)
Brad Posted September 3, 2004 Posted September 3, 2004 This is such a hot deal. I'm thinking of ordering. I wanted the 34" version, but there's no way its worth $500-600 more for it. Best Buy has this exact same model in their ad this week for $899 + tax, so that tells you what a great deal this is with free shipping.
Brad Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Taking orders once again :) I ordered mine on Friday night
nick Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Anyone have comments on this TV yet? I've seen some nasty reviews.
