lmitchem
Hey...I did as a couple of you advised and got the Infocus 4805 Digital Projector at Staples yesterday...But as I'm sitting here looking at the info on it it has a really low lumens on it. I thought the better projectors had higher lumens. Any help or advise is much appreciated!! Present for hubby - I guess I can take it back if needed. Thanks again, Lisa
damac
I have the 4805, and it is an outstanding projector for the price (especially what you paid). Many great projectors don't have high lumen output, at least not ones that cost less than $1200. I have this PJ with a 92" screen in a room where I can control the light coming from the windows well. With any projector you have to do your best to keep light from shining directly onto the screen or in the path of light from the projector to the screen. I think he will be very happy with it. And I wish I had a wife that bought these kind of things for me for Christmas. Wow!
lmitchem
Thanks so much for your advice. Is your picture clear on it and if you don't mind me asking....where did you get your screen and what did you pay for it? Thanks! Lisa
sperdue
This is a great projecter! I don't have one, but we sell them where I work. Bundled with a screen, we sell it for $1299.99 - $1499.
