couponmamaoftwins Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I think I'm gonna wear jeans with some big baggy sweats over them while I wait in line all night. When the time gets closer for the store to open I can take the sweats off and go.
Elsie Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Jeans and a sweatshirt over a turtleneck for me, I will be wearing a down coat too. I also just got my hand and feet warmers tonight.
javagirl413 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I'm wearing a comfortable track suit. That way I can tie the jacket around my waste when it's hot inside and wear layers when I'm outside.
snakeswiff Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Hey if I dont wear jeans everyone will see my:gd_shake: Nobody wants to see that in the wee hours of the am.....
denisekraemer Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I boughy leg warmers like the ones from Flash Dance days. I bought them last year for BF at Walmart and they work great.
saturnboy01 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Jeans down here in TX. Supposed to be low 50's or so and upper 70's on BF so no biggie for us Texans. Enjoy everyone, I know I wilL!
RossMAN Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Jeans cause friction and slow you down! I'm shaving my entire body of hair, getting into a vat of vaseline, sporting Speedo's and using inline skates. WATCH OUT!

bayhaysay Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Jeans cause friction and slow you down! I'm shaving my entire body of hair, getting into a vat of vaseline, sporting Speedo's and using inline skates. WATCH OUT! That ought to do the trick. I'm sure everyone will at least get out of your way so the cops can get to you. Of couse with all that vaseline you should have no trouble slipping out of the handcuffs and getting back out there. I have this reoccuring dream about vaseline, I think I posted it here somewhere.

groundkat Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 you'd have to pry my jeans off of my cold, dead (and moist?) body!! jeans rule!!!
RossMAN Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005  Eeeeeeeewwwwww :yuck: On the other hand, could you kindly repeat that post tomorrow night so I won't be able to sleep then either? :g_laughin Here's my dilemma, I usually sleep at 1AM that's the time my "day" will start on BF. So today (Thanksgiving) I'll probably go to sleep around 3AM, wake up "early" around 10AM ... eat/watch TV and eat more ... I should be tired and will hopefully sleep around 5-6PM to Midnight. Shower then go to Best Buy and wait 5 hours in line. Another 3 hours to go.

RossMAN Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 So, the vaseline helps keep you up? ...awake I mean? (HD > oven - got it)It's times like this where I think a members only forum would be useful
DaleRider Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Polar Fleece-lined jeans here.....great things I got from L L Bean. Actually bought two pair from them, one Polar Fleece lined and one with a lining of cotton flannel...... Under the jeans goes a set of insulated bicycling tights.....quite warm by themselves and whan added to the lined jeans, nothing gets through. Upper gets regular T-shirt followed by a bicycling underlayer shirt of something akin to Thinsulate (very insulating and moisture-wicking and yet quite thin), then a flannel shirt, a polar fleece pullover and a leather bomber jacket lined with Thinsulate. Double socks, insulated ones over heavier cotton, and Thinsulate-lined boots, some mid-weight gloves and I'm set. Not worried abut the cold, just boredom.
abruemmer1 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I'll be in my "fuzzy pants". Sort of a thicker version of sweatpants, with long johns underneath. It will be a toasty 10 degrees with 15mph winds for me!
decafmom Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 The bad part about wearing long johns under jeans is how hot you get once you're inside!!
