In need of a good deal on an iPod touch either 3G or 4th gen--

There is no 3G touch. It's all 4th or 5th. Best deals will be on the 4th but there are sometimes a rare one on the 5th. Do you have a specific size in mind? Do you mind refurbished?

I've been shopping for these and 4th gen was OK as far as I was concerned for my 11 and 12 yr old. Best buy I found was at Target for $195 and the $50 gift card. Win-win....my boys get the ipod touch and am giving my daughter's the $50 gift card!

If refurbished 4th gen is ok, the apple store has them on sale. 32GB for $179 or 64GB for $229. Not as good as the Target deal going on (don't know when it ends, may have already).

DS10 only wanted a 32GB 5th gen. Fine with me since he paid himself, I was just the deal finder for him I got it for $245. The only sale I've seen on them all season was $50 off on Amazon (as a lightening deal) and full price with a $50 gift card at best buy. Both were black friday week deals. Everything else I've seen has been 4th gen.
