Just got this from Apple:

The biggest shopping day of the year is at your door! We are excited to announce that the Apple Store is featuring a very special one-day promotion for Black Friday, November 25th!

On Friday, November 25th, the links for the Gift Guide will dynamically update with a special shopping event. This promotion is sure to be very popular with your customers - but we can't disclose it yet...that would ruin the surprise!

I'm a little slow, are you saying they will have special prices online too? My sis just asked me to order the Ipod Nano for my daughter at Apple.Com (get it for $179.00 with the teacher discount) plus free engraving....their website says that if the product goes cheaper within 14 days of shipment, they will refund the difference, so I should probably order it now anyway, right?

We can only hope that some web designer setting up the site leaks the info :) I'm gonna have to check since the nano is something I have to get for Christmas......man that will stink, waking up for midnight, then I know I won't be able to fall back asleep with all the excitement to only wake up again in 2 hours.....I better start napping now ha ha.

Considering discounts from Apple on current products are extremely rare, any discount looks pretty good. A lot of people are looking for iPod deals and these may be the best prices around.

I think the education discounts are better. Hopefully, the BF sale will be better.

Although the prices aren't that great, the key to remember is that they're still cheaper than regular price. It's not too often you see Apple products on sale. Gotta admire Apple. They keep strict control on their hardware and software and prices as well.
