What's the Best Laptop

Ok, I'm in college so I need a laptop that's:

 

Dependable

Don't have to plug it up into a wall...(does that mean I need WIFI??)

GOOD, AND WILL GIVE ME BANG FOR MY BUCK

surfs the internet, ability to burn cds, and did I say surf the net.

 

Download programs for school (do i need a lot of memory?)
