This is what it said on the Amazon page: For a limited time, we will give you a credit that will allow you to get one of 20 eligible titles for just $1.99. All you have to do is let your Facebook friends know what your pick is for the greatest album of all time by typing it in the box below and clicking the blue button. After you do that, we will automatically add a credit to your account. Next, choose which of the eligible titles you'd like to buy, click through to the product details page, and click the "buy" button. You will see the regular price on the product details page but we will only charge you $1.99. Learn more and see terms and conditions.

 

Let's hope it does what it says it's going to. If not, I'll be writing to customer service.

Mine was completely free (due to an additional $2 credit I had in my account). KBsDarling, did you select the MP3 album cost? Definitely contact Amazon over the issue. I've gotten many refunds and price corrections on things like this. My 3yo son for 2 years has messed with my Amazon account thanks to my Kindle Fire.

check your digital order summary should show the discount...Can't beat .99 for slippery when wet.

Mine also says the $9.49, but at the bottom it says "your order is still processing" and something about any promotions, specials, etc. will be applied when the order is complete... something to that fact. I'm going to keep an eye on it, then I will be calling, as I definitely hit the share on FB and then later when I got on FB again, I saw it posted there with my answer to my ultimate fave album.
