stacyvz Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 If I have a WalMart ad with the cheaper prices and take it to a WalMArt with higher advertised prices, will they match their OWN prices?? Does this make sense?? I live in a small town, and our flier lists the higher advertised prices. If I take in an ad for the big town 45 milkes south of us, with the lower prices, will my walmart match those lower prices? It would save some hassle for me!! Should I call my walmart manager to find out??
best4less Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I'd call to find out. I'm thinking they probably won't since the higher price is the advertised price for your area but....it can't hurt to ask!
stacyvz Posted November 21, 2005 Author Posted November 21, 2005 They will price match the Target/Kmart, etc fliers that are from that same town as the lower WM prices. I would think they'd just be glad I"m choosing them! I will call later today.
saturnboy01 Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I agree with best4less I dont believe they would because your ad for your area is the price that is set they are not going to change with their ad from another region. Otherwise they would make all price regions the same. I would advise you call and ask MANAGEMENT about that or call corporate.
venerdinero Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 No. That being said, it might be worth a phone call, but the general rule is that WalMart will NOT PM WalMart. Ironic, isn't it? They won't PM Sam's Club either.
jmmom Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Our small town wal-mart said they thought the stuff would ring up the lower price but they would price match the cheaper wal-mart ad. The two ads I have for Wal Mart which have different prices on them don't say they go to any specific store.
