I mean, I think it's crazy and I wouldn't do it but if thier crazy enough to do it then go for it. It's not hurting anyone. And if people think it's causing them to miss out on a deal, well then get your butts up and go get in line.I would if I didn't have to work. I'm going the second I get out of work Wednesday night. Also getting DH the Canon T3i camera bundle. Of course there are none in the store so it will have to be ordered. Hoping it will come up online before 8pm tomorrow night. Second in line even has one of those trailers, and first has a generator and heater in their tent! But alas all I have is my chair and plenty to do that I can't do because I'm too chilled to the bone. Can't wait til sunrise! I would add there are 17 in line here now, 2 more showed up at midnight. I knew I would be in at least 2 newspapers and wanted it to add some publicity to the site. I have been using it for years and love it. I have also handed out about 1/2 of the cards business cards Brad sent me and should have them all given out by tonight, lol. If I had a bigger banner or knew of one I would have gladly put that I my tent also. So far 2 newspapers, 1 TV station, and 3 radio stations have either mentioned me, put our pics in today's paper or had us on the news last night. I know they will be back tonight when they open as well and I'll probably be in tomorrow's paper as well. They have 1 reported that does the online and another did the actual copy for the printed newspaper. TazErase Posted November 28, 2012 Share Posted November 28, 2012 i really think that is so sad.lol, for some of us it's more about tradition and competition rather than just getting the deals. Luckily I have never had to get there that early, but if someone beats me one of these years, I'll get there earlier the next year to make sure I take back my title as first. Since moving to this area I have been first 6 out of 9 times, and the first time was my first year in this location so it was more a scouting exhibition where I got none of the good deals. Some people make have their own opinions, and trust me, I hear it all from my own family, but it's fun being first. In my local Best Buy they even have a nickname that they use when referring to me now, they just call me "Number 1" because that is my place in line every year on Black Friday.
