bribri25 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Since I've had good luck with Sony and they seem to be a good bet for players, I'm looking at the S390 & S590. The 590 seems to just additionally support 3D and costs $10 more on BF ($90 vs $100). I've seen slightly better reviews for the 590, but nothing major. If I'm not a huge fan of 3D movies, don't have and don't plan to have a 3D TV anytime soon, is there any major advantage to spending the extra $10 for the 590 just because I'm reading reviews are slightly better? Can anyone recommend by what they have and what would you do?
hack2222 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I'd Just spend the extra $10 and if you buy it from bestbuy.com you can buy it now for $109 and not worry about blackfriday hassles. Plus if its even a little bit better, whats $10 dollars in exchange for a small upgrade.

I've been teetering back and forth on whether or not to get one and which one all day! I think if I can get the 590 @ $100 price, I might just get that. Otherwise, doesn't everyone else already have a Blu-Ray player? I can't imagine they will be the first item to go in all of the multiple stores that are selling them.
