CC FREE Sirius Receiver???

It looks like you DO have to sign up for one year and pay the one time fee, then its free after rebates and approx.$15 a month

If you go to the Sirius website the 50 rebate is only good if you sign up for a subscription of Satalite service.

I believe witht he $50 rebate you do need to activate it prior to 12/31/05. I believe the Audiovox one that they have FAR is an old model which is why it is so cheap. If I were you I would go to the Sirius website and pick a more up to date receiver. They now have ones where you can rewind, pause, and fast forward up to 44 minutes. Very nice stuff and not that expensive either. But if you are going cheap then it will probably be ok. But be careful and do your research as many of the early Audiovox units were overheating. Just do a search on Thanskgiving when you find out what model it is.

If it is Audiovox run away as fast as you can! My first Sirius receiver was an Audiovox and I had connection problems with the antenna. A very common problem with Audiovox by the way.... My second Sirius receiver is a Starmate. No problems with the Starmate so far. :)
