saturnboy01 Posted November 18, 2005 Author Posted November 18, 2005 This is my 2nd BF trip out into "crazy BF world". I would say to be prepared for the crowd to erupt when WM opens it doors. That was the only store I went to last year.
blakes_mommy Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 I check to see what my kids want and than I start making lists, checking stores and placing some layaways. I constantly check this site.... That is #1!!
Princess7915 Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 I get everybody's wish list and check regular pricing. Then when the ads come out I see what's in them that's on or close to my list. I don't make up my list by what's on the ads, I love to browse and pick up stuff I think people will like.
laura8773 Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 I normally know what I am going to buy and then I check the ads. I then make up all my lists by store. Sometimes the lists change a few (too many) times as I find something cheaper somewhere else.
erh12275 Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I started planning the day the Walmart ad came out and will be planning til I have bought everything on my list.
MarkRaby Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 To be quite honest, I usually just do all my planning on Thanksgiving Day. I of course come to GottaDeal to get a heads-up on the ads, but sometimes it's hard to make out the fine print and see the exact specifications of some of the items. Plus, there are always a few ads that I'm interested in that don't get leaked (usually Media Play is the big one for me). So I start just browsing the stuff the day the first ad is leaked, but I don't actually make any plans until Thanksgiving Day itself. -Mark-
