Half or Wall Christmas Tree 7-8 feet tall

Recommended Posts

I really want a half tree to put up next year in our dining room. It needs a wide tree because its in front of our front windows and its seen from the street, but I don't have much depth for the tree in the room to keep the furniture there. So, I'd like a half tree. It is fine to be unlit, I can add lights. Not multi colored lights though, if its pre-lit, I need it clear/white. I am fine with a green or silver tree. I've never seen one in a store, so I can't stalk them after the holidays to get them on clearance. Anyone have any ideas on this? Our room has 8 feet ceilings, so I'd like a 7-8 foot tall tree. I am ok if it doesn't fit a topper. Our main tree is in the other room and has our topper on it.

Thanks for any help!

My husband is having a heart attack about the price, I'm hoping to find a cheaper one... I wonder if just cutting the branches shorter on one side would work. Not all of the way to the halfway point, but part way would make it more slim.

I know what you mean...I wouldn't pay that much for a full tree!

I didn't even know such a thing existed until this thread and I wish you luck in finding something to suit your needs.

Seems to me you'd be able to leave the branches of a regular tree bent up and not down like the rest of the tree but I don't know.

I bought a tree on clearance at Kohls today. Its a pretty one and narrow, yet not narrow enough. I plan to either bend, fold, or if I have to, cut, off some of the lowest (therefor widest) branches so that it fits in my space. It isn't exactly what I wanted, but will work for a few years at least and was much closer to my price point. Its a pretty silver one. I had wanted to buy it before, and looked at several Kohls. Then today, when out of town (and a day after spending $50 in Kohls cash and having the 20% off code) I found one. Ugggg

Glad you got something, Midwest Mama!

I don't know if you do yard/garage/rummage sales, but I often see trees for sale during these.

I get most of my "snowpeeps" (I collect snowmen things) during the summer so keep your eyes peeled!

At least you have something to start the season with next year :)
