audrey06 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Has anyone ever submitted a price adjustment there?
peppysfireball Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 They do not do price adjustment. If you get a nice rep, they will sometimes give you a one time good faith credit. They stopped doing price adjustments about 3 years ago when people were calling in daily during the big december toy sale and wanting their prices adjusted. since amazon's prices change hourly, they couldn't do it.
audrey06 Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 i submitted to them w/ their little "found a lower price" button the lower price i found, but no change yet. guess i will have to keep hitting f5!
peppysfireball Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 They don't react to all those. It's just for their benefit. I don't think it lets you vote more than once. It doens't with the kindle books anyway. I have notified them many times of lower prices, and they never chose to lower theirs. i submitted to them w/ their little "found a lower price" button the lower price i found, but no change yet. guess i will have to keep hitting f5!
audrey06 Posted November 27, 2011 Author Posted November 27, 2011 You'd think a $21 difference in price would do the trick.....lol!
hack2222 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 They'd rather you send the item back, and then re order the item. Unless you can find one of the smart ones in the customer service department.
peppysfireball Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Yes, but if you send an item back because of a price difference, they deduct the return shipping from your refund, so they win either way.
