Brad Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 Target has traditionally put their Black Friday ad items online on Thanksgiving Day, so we are currently expecting the same for this year. No time has been disclosed yet, so if we find anything out, we'll post it here. If anyone out there finds anything out, please do the same.
stacya Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Anyone know if it's likely that they would have the Kinect with Wipeout 2 online--or is that considered a doorbuster, because it is an add-on to the Kinect?
Brad Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 Anyone know if it's likely that they would have the Kinect with Wipeout 2 online--or is that considered a doorbuster, because it is an add-on to the Kinect? From what I remember, they rarely have the BF ad items that include free items online. Of course they have a new web site this year, so maybe they finally have the ability to do so, but in past years, you rarely saw any "bundle" offers online.
HansieDZ Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 How about purchasing items that come with a gift card? How do they do that? Or do they not put those things on-line? TIA
Brad Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 How about purchasing items that come with a gift card? How do they do that?Or do they not put those things on-line?TIASomeone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember them doing those either. It was like their system wasn't set up to allow for free items. That may have changed with their new site though, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Of course they have a new web site this year, so maybe they finally have the ability to do so, but in past years, you rarely saw any "bundle" offers online. Thanks, Brad...that's what I thought, but I don't think this is considered a "doorbuster" per se, so wondered if it works differently...hoping the new site makes this possible--would sure like to take advantage of other early opening stores, instead of waiting outside til midnight!! How about purchasing items that come with a gift card? How do they do that?Or do they not put those things on-line?TIAI think Brad is right, because I remember planning to buy something that was supposed to come with a GC two years ago, (when I still did a PA on BF instead of waiting in line), and I don't even think you could buy it and then go back and get the GC after, you could only get it in-store, during the sale...

noehlp Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 So, they've updated their website? I hate to say it, but every time I've went on their site in the last two weeks Target's website has ran entirely slow - too slow imo. I wonder how this will effect Black Friday shopping on their website. Has anyone else noticed it?

Buckeye Shopper Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 So, they've updated their website? I hate to say it, but every time I've went on their site in the last two weeks Target's website has ran entirely slow - too slow imo. I wonder if it's having issues with IE. What are you all running when you open it up?I'm running IE currently. But only because my Firefox has had a lot of issues and I've had no time to get that fully resolved. So I'm stuck with IE until after BF season.
Jen8112 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I'm running IE currently. But only because my Firefox has had a lot of issues and I've had no time to get that fully resolved. So I'm stuck with IE until after BF season. Not sure what that means, a lot of issues, but did you try Chrome? I use Firefox and would never go back to IE. I have noticed that the Target website is still slow on Firefox, it's the new site it sucks. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDeal
amickeyfan Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I use chrome.. and love it.. as for Target's website, yes, it is slow ...................just went on their site and it is running pretty decent right now...

jediliz Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I know the iTunes card won't be online since its a doorbuster....last year my Target was out of those by the time I got there at like 5:30 or 6 AM. I hope the video games will be online at BF prices....there are at least two I might get....and pajamas I really want these certain ones....and I am so glad I am a red card holder....free shipping AND an extra 5% off.
tinkrbel Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 hmmm....wondering if I should get the bed in a bag tomorrow and try for price adjustment if it's not available online or if it's not worth it. Mom's bff just called and she wants it for a niece

cass3927 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Does anyone know if we'll be able to buy the mr. coffee online and get the 30$ gift card? I sure don't feel like going to the store...

My parents are hosting my dad's side of the family (there will be at least 80 people). All my shopping will have to be done online Thursday morning BEFORE I leave. Plus, I prefer bigger $ itunes cards rather than three smaller cards...
Licoriceky2 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I too am wanting the Mr. Coffee single cup maker w/ $30.00 gift card...but do not want to stand in line. Can anyone confirm this to be an online deal? If so what time, at earliest, can I go online and purchase??? Thanks in advance!
stacya Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Has anyone been able to get their Target maps yet? All I see are maps for the few things they show on the webpage target.com/blackfridaymaps...the only other is to get to the ad...I don't see anywhere to click on to get the maps!!
Brad Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 bumping this one for the day as the sale should start tonight on www.target.com
jediliz Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 like around midnight or 1 AM? I am counting on that....though I won't get a lot of sleep if I stay up that late...but I want to get a few Video games that I hope will be online as well....cause I won't be able to go to a physical Target store.
