I don't recall ever subscribing to any threads in the past 4 years I have been here, but I saw it was an option and so I tried to subscribe to a few threads which discussed toys/cameras/etc that I wanted to see what people replied to after my posts/questions.

I keep hitting subscribed (to various threads) and never get a notification. What am I doing wrong?

I know there have been posts after me, because I've gone back and checked some of the threads.

It would be time saving for me to just get a notice.

Also, slightly off topic but ONLINE when I search things for walmart online, I'll choose an item and then it says it is either "available (or not available) in YOUR _________ Store." and it is a store I have NOT chosen, it does this every time, I click to CHANGE my store... and then the next day/week whenever I got back onto the site, it has the OTHER store back in there, which is in the same COUNTY but I wouldn't want to drive and shop at the store.

anyone know how to remedy This??

when you subscribe to a thread it brings you to another screen where you get to pick how you are notified.

I LOVE the subscribe feature.

Yes, I saw that page, and little box comes down and I hit INSTANT subscription by email...but nothing in email, nothing in spam folder. I regularly get the "gottadeal BF ads are out" type emails, so that "works"

Don't get it....

That fact that you have an @yahoo.com e-mail address might be the issue. For some reason Yahoo is not delivering a lot of messages sent from the forum (PM notifications, new account confirmations, subscription e-mails). Maybe check your spam folder or see if you can add forums(at)gottadeal(dot)com to your "safe senders" list if Yahoo has such a thing.

Hey Brad, would it be simpler if I just give you another email address can it be done easily? (via private message)? That'd be easier, I use my newer email address more, as I was getting ton of spam on Yahoo...

Thanx
