ohitsunshine Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 This is the first year I decided to go with a photo card. I always bought cute cards and then put a 4x6 in the card. This year I used a code and got free cards with Shutterfly. I love the card design itself, but I am disappointed in the back. I didn't think about the fact that it would look the back of any photo. Do you guys have any recommendations on how to pretty that up? Or hide it?
ISU ME Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Alot of the flat cards on shutterfly are designed so you put a picture and some text on the back if you are going to order more. But most of the photo cards I have ordered from places like walmart the back has looked like a photo. I wouldn't worry about it. If it bothers you maybe write a personal message on the back and/or get some christmas stickers.
stacyk9 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 All the cards I've given and all that I've received have had the "photo" back. I think it's just the way they're made. Maybe you could tape some wrapping paper to the back or some pretty scrapbook paper?
llist Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 how about matting it with cardstock... michaels has cardstock pretty cheap this week :)
ohitsunshine Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 Thank you guys- I have never noticed the cards I get from others like that! I think I might try matting them, or using the scrap book paper. Great ideas, thank you!
