angleyez423 Posted November 7, 2011 Share Posted November 7, 2011 An FM transmitter is usually battery operated (2 AAA's for example) and plug into the earphone jack of the iPhone. Shouldn't need a lighter plug-in. I had one a few years ago that can from Radio Shack and it wasn't too bad, it got static sometimes though. Belkin makes one that looks pretty good and has decent reviews. What I was referring to before is they make one that doesn't transmit but rather plays like a tape and they work great.
