shopper65 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Does anyone have any advise on which fm transmiiters work the best for 4th generation Ipod touch? My daughter wants one for her car and I am not sure what ones are the best.
angleyez423 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Is there any chance she still has a tape deck? Those are the best, no static at all. My car isn't that old and has one with the cd player.
shopper65 Posted November 6, 2011 Author Posted November 6, 2011 No she has a cd player. Is there one that works with that or will I need to get one that plugs in to the lighter?
angleyez423 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 An FM transmitter is usually battery operated (2 AAA's for example) and plug into the earphone jack of the iPhone. Shouldn't need a lighter plug-in. I had one a few years ago that can from Radio Shack and it wasn't too bad, it got static sometimes though. Belkin makes one that looks pretty good and has decent reviews. What I was referring to before is they make one that doesn't transmit but rather plays like a tape and they work great. FM is what she will need if she doesn't have the tape deck.
Jen8112 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I Hate FM transmitters. I always get static no matter what channel I use. Lol. I'm looking to get a new radio for my truck that has a plug right in the front to plug my iPhone into. :)
