Does anyone have any advise on which fm transmiiters work the best for 4th generation Ipod touch? My daughter wants one for her car and I am not sure what ones are the best.

An FM transmitter is usually battery operated (2 AAA's for example) and plug into the earphone jack of the iPhone. Shouldn't need a lighter plug-in. I had one a few years ago that can from Radio Shack and it wasn't too bad, it got static sometimes though. Belkin makes one that looks pretty good and has decent reviews.

What I was referring to before is they make one that doesn't transmit but rather plays like a tape and they work great. FM is what she will need if she doesn't have the tape deck.

I Hate FM transmitters. I always get static no matter what channel I use. Lol. I'm looking to get a new radio for my truck that has a plug right in the front to plug my iPhone into. :)
