Tad22 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I just read an article on how Target will open at midnight. Here is the link to the story:http://www.news-record.com/content/2011/10/28/article/target_to_begin_black_friday_hours_at_midnight_this_year. There was also another article about it from another news source, but I did not get to read that one. What are your thoughts and/or do you know anything about this?
bigjimslade Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Thanks for posting and welcome to the community! Like I said....Thanksgiving is Canceled! I just read an article on how Target will open at midnight. d2p Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 from twitter - Target The only thing you have to fear is tryptophan. Our Black Friday sales start at midnight this year. You in? 36 minutes ago
angelbabymommy Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I agree with BigJim ...this is just crazy. What happened to Thanksgiving?
BFAddict716 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 They just made it Facebook official. I'm so mad what was wrong with 4am? What ate they going to do next. Take thanksgiving away and turn it into a shopping day?
b_parks Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 That means I will have to stay out all night....not excited about this!!!
kimmie0712 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I'm not very happy about this and I know my husband is going to hate it. I always go to the outlets at midnight, but Target is always my first real Black Friday store. Ugh.
Buckeye Shopper Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I seriously hope this backfires on retailers, and they go back to sain hours...
Brad Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Hopefully the online sales start earlier so everyone can get some stuff online before they have to leave for the stores.
bigjimslade Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I dont think it will. Some stores tried it out last year and now more stores are getting in on the Thanksgiving Day/Midnight on Black Friday action I seriously hope this backfires on retailers, and they go back to sain hours...
