Make it midnight if you must, but please no sooner. (I'm talking to you, TRU!) Personally, I'd like to see the sales starting at 5-6am again.

I actually like the early opening at TRU. I gives me time to get my kids toys then off to other places for myself. Plus with TRU opening early I can get their presents hidden before they wake up.

I'm working til midnight on Thanksgiving day anyway. so right after work I'm going shopping! :2roller: I'll be sleeping around 8am....should've gotten everything I wanted by the time the "4-amers" wake up

My take is it will eventually no longer be Black Friday but get pushed back to Midnight on Thursday. I do not like the idea based on it ruins the holiday (yes people can have it on Saturday but that's assuming everyones schedules are the same). I think the workers in retail should get that day off with family and not be stuck working at midnight.

The system was not broke so why fix it?

Whats next..moving Thanksgiving Dinner to another day, so the family can be together. Then greed and retail has won and Family has lost.

Theres quite a few who maybe dont have a nice fluffy family to with on this holiday. Earlier the better for them.
