Whats next..moving Thanksgiving Dinner to another day, so the family can be together. Then greed and retail has won and Family has lost.

My take is it will eventually no longer be Black Friday but get pushed back to Midnight on Thursday. I do not like the idea based on it ruins the holiday (yes people can have it on Saturday but that's assuming everyones schedules are the same). I think the workers in retail should get that day off with family and not be stuck working at midnight.
