Just providing some insight on these (as I've bought both): my son does not like this one above, the pro one, he says it hurts his ears comfort-wise. He absolutely loves the first one. I've bought two of the first on so far, as he's a lil' rough with his gaming equipment and one broke; but with the price of it, that's ok.

good thoughts, if someone was looking for the other type, just go to the first link and then go mid page and it will show others also, they seem to have alot of sale or clearing out?

The first set, I usually find/wait til the price is around $4-$5 from somewhere thru Amazon. I wouldn't say they are clearing them out though, as I think my first purchase of this headset was back in Nov 2010 or Dec, at basically the same price or so.
