Somehow, I figured the My Keepon would be on that list. It's a ToysRus exclusive item and has a late release date 10/24. Lots of favorable reviews in various magazines for the toy, but it just doesn't look like much to me... The Air Swimmers are a ToysRus exclusive item as well hmmmm....

M'eh..........TRU releases these "Lists" every year!! IMHO, it's a ploy to get kids frenzied up about the upcoming Holiday and parents ulcers about the amount of money they'll have to spend on each one of these gifts!! Pretty soon Target will release a similar list with 3-4 of their toys that are "Sold Exclusivly at Target!' Same with Kolh's! Same with WalMart! Etc! Etc! Etc!

Thats essentially any ad released for Black Friday- to get us frenzied into spending more money.

 

Honestly the same could be said for Brad's predictions. It gets us in the spirits, then if one is off, we complain that the ads are terrible. I understand where your coming from though, but it really does boil down to Toys R Us trying to push sales. It's up to us to see if we have the restraint, or cave in.

I'm not all that impressed with the 'suggestions' for the under 2 yo set. The Elefun pop up is a repeated concept with just a new theme. We already have a pop up ball thingy. Im a little tired of the Elmo stuff. Again we already have an Elmo and quite frankly my daughter is not into it. I was hoping to see something new, creative and exciting.
