Does anyone know... the copy paper rebate deal at Staples that says "limit 2 per household"... does that mean limit 2 per week or 2 period? I am pretty sure the copy paper rebate deal this week at Staples is the same brand of paper that they had the rebate deal on last week, so I am not sure if I can do it again. Thanks!

Also, on their website Staples has a printable in-store coupon for 20% off one item, through 8/20 http://akimages.cros...4273_coupon.pdf

Has anyone seen filler paper on sale? The cheapest I can find is $.75 at Target. Did I miss the $.05 or $.25 sale?

it was either office max or office depot had it a week ago for .01, I think it was Office Max

Office Max has a great sale this week - 2 packs of scissors are .50 (had to dig to find pointy tip), rulers and protractors and metal compasses are .01, and plastic 3-ring binders are .30

... a great deal on scissors at Office Depot too. Seven inch Fiskers for $1. With 3 small people in this house, someone is always taking my scissors. Or DH takes them and uses them for anything buy their intended purpose, usually resulting in breaking them or getting them filthy! Drives me crazy.

Most of the filler paper now is the bigger packages. But I don't think the deals were out there for certain things this year. WAGs normally would run really cheap mechanical pencils and I don't remember seeing those this year.

Walgreens had cheap mechanical pencils twice, the .39 ones and then the little nicer ones for .89 and there was no limit on them. My daughter informed that she was the only one in her class last year that had regular pencils so we had to do something about that, and I was really watching the ads for mechanical pencils.

What's weird is I was looking at the supply list for my elementary school, just for kicks, and they said regular pencils only - they would not allow mechanical, and they were very specific about the brands of pencil. I guess there were too many lead shortages. I used mechanical pencil whenever I could - I hated sharpening my pencil. And the point was never fine enough...

Ours is the same way. Can't remember what they are called but they start with a T and I think the box was green. I think it has something to do with the testing, because the computers or scanners grade the tests and that lead is the most readable or something. I think its stupid, my kids love the decorated pencils. My daughter just got some ICarly ones and she will be using em, lol.

Ticonderoga. Probably those :) My son goes through mechanical pencils like you wouldn't believe! I prefer him using the Ticonderoga pencils because they are more sturdy, better for test taking, don't break as easily and always sharpen well! The decorated pencils my other two pick end up being a pain to sharpen because they break in the sharpener so often. ugh!

89 cents for BIC is too expensive for me. WAGs ran those for 19 or 39 cents last year. That's what I was looking for.

They had both sales already, the bic plain cheaper ones for .39 and then a larger nicer different brand pack with different colors was .89.
