Quick question, I don't get their ad even though they are 5 miles down the road, but i wondered can you use the printer paper with the rebate for the $5 purchase, I thought I read it didn't count...that would be great if it counted as the $5 purchase! guess I will be making a trip to Staples if this is the case...

it's true, they're 4/$1. check here for local ad. I hadn't thought they'd have BTS sales and the newspaper this week was missing lots of regular ads.

****Ad says must buy 4 for offer, in store only

Generally any paper I've ever bought at Office Depot or Staples have held up well.

If you can find one inch for under a buck, that's a great price.

GO BRUINS!

not sure the regular price, but crayola is b1g2 this week at toysrus.
the price for 24pk crayons won't beat .25c but it'll be a better deal for markers and pencils.

wait! just saw that kmart has crayola pencils (12pk) and markers (10pk--classic nonwashable in the ad) for $1
and 24ct crayons for .25c

Does anyone know the price of 64-count crayola crayons at TRU? Are colored pencils included in the sale (we need 12ct twistable colored pencils)? Can you mix and match - for example buy markers and get free paper and crayons?

I got 64-count Crayola crayons for $2 at Dollar General today. I hate to pay that much when a .25 24-count box would probably do everything the kids need to do, but it's on our supply lists and it's at least $3 everywhere else. If anyone else needs these they are advertised in this weeks ad and ripe for PMing.

It's not an under a dollar deal, but Sharpie Pens (the one that do not bleed through paper) are on sale at Wags for 3.99 for a 4 pack, or 3.50 off per pack. Good deal at 1.00 per pen. My pen obsession begins again!

GO BRUINS!

I don't know about anyone else but here in Metro Detroit, if you don't get to the store on the first day during the first hour, they never restock the cheap items. So the ad may say they have them available til Wednesday but they never have them. So, I don't bother. I went to Walmart and they had great deals that are not advertised and lots of stock.:eyepoppin

Isn't that frustrating? I find that too, especially with the stores specific to this thread. I've gotten so that I just will always price match the item at Target (as long as it's not a store brand) rather than to even step foot in these stores knowing that I'll just be irritated. Our ads for these stores usually come out on Sunday and about the only way I would ever get one of their sale items is if I skip church and wait at the store when it opens... all for a $1 pair of scissors or 25cent glue?? Don't think so!! The stores that allow price matching probably don't appreciate the Staples, Office Max, etc... that bring out the really cheap school supplies, but don't have the supply to meet the obvious demand that they will bring.

We don't have a TRU so I headed to Kmart...not a .25 box of crayons or glue stix in the entire store...so I grabbed an add and will hit up Walmart for a price match tomorrow....I never made it to Roswell to get Mech. pencils so if anyone sees them in Sundays ads please post (we prefer BIC) I think Roswell has a Staples and Office max or depot I cannot picture which one it is!!!..also Target, Walmart, Walgreens and Kmart (no TRU)

I am a Girl Scout Leader, and Event Director- so I always stock up on the 1 - 25 cent deals, but they don't seem so good this year (so far). Was a bit annoyed with the $5 minimum purchase at Staples, but did figure out the easy rebate paper deal, so did that, and got a few things (Bic pens, mech. pencils, & stickies). Didn't feel it was worth the time & gas to drive around to other stores to get more though. What we really use a lot of every year is the pocket folders, and wooden pencils - so if anyone gets word on these, please post!

Can anyone explain how this works? Do you buy now, and then submit info and wait for a reward check? Does the reward check have to be spent at the store?

I'm new to this too but it looks like rewards are purchased at the end of month and rewards card are available for print approximately the 20th of the following month being valid for 90 days or 1 year in florida(not sure why we're special). It needs to be used in store and CANNOT be used on store gift cards. I did the paper an earlier week and may get bags if I'm feeling up to it this week BUT I'm working on the benefit of having a year to use it and hoping they have something on sale for BF :P Which I'll only be able to confirm after 8/20 when first one is available, they seem to refer to card on keychain as maxperks id in their FAQ so I think its safe to say the above is true but it's an ASSumption.
