They werent just plug and play, at least they werent when we had ours put in. So just read and ask all the questions you can to be sure. I know some models werent compatible with some vehicles either. On that note... I LOVE LOVE LOVE ours.... cant stand all the talk on the regular radio, especially now that we have the Sirius! :) Money well spent IMHO. Our subscription has way more channels than we'll ever listen to, and I thought was very cheap for as many as we had, and we added the sports pack to ours too. Ours runs $13.XX a month. There is no 'okay, well maybe' LOL No living WITHOUT it here.. :)I probably had it all backwards but I know there can be a difference in sound depending on how its installed/used.
