mysschevous
You could look on apple.com for a refurbished ipod, or you could try macmall.com or amazon sometimes has good deals. I know I have bought some Mac stuff there for less. What do you plan on using your ipod for? My DS has his 32 GB chock full, and could probably use the 64 GB, but DH has only used about 1/2 of his. Probably a little of everything. Educational games/apps to keep my special needs son busy when we have to "wait" during community activities/restaurants, etc. I don't even know if apps take up alot of space? I'd probably put more pictures on it, than music...and some movies, again for my son to watch. Thanks for your help.
conj
depending on what you needed to keep on, and what you were willing to rotate, you could keep apps, movies, etc on your computer's HD and put them on as you need them... this would allow you to rotate games, movies, tv shows etc, so he would not get bored. Thanks, I am trusting that swapping is pretty simple to do (I don't do "difficult" very well, LOL) I have another HUGE question, If I would buy from Amazon with an APPLE warranty and something goes wrong with it, say in 6 mos. or a year, can I take it into an Apple Store for replacement, being I bought the Apple warranty thru Amazon, or must I deal with Amazon? Anyone have trouble with one they bought from Amazon? (Another benefit if I buy from Amazon, my son's school sells giftcards for Amazon and so I could save some money and help the school...) thanks
Guest bluecamel1913
My brother has a 32 GB but its full from all the apps he downloaded to it. If you are planning to download a lot of games or apps, I would get the 64 GB model.
thefree1956
Two of my girls got them off of Ebay. They saved money and they are very happy.
lorilwayne
I have the iphone and have had mine since release for verizon in Feb. I have to say not much difference except I also have the phone and the ipod. I have a reasonable number of aps on mine and its a 16 gb and still has 5 gb left. What I'm wondering is how the ipod compares to the smaller netbook touches that are out there. Any input from ipod and netbook touch users... I'm hoping to get some ipod touches for some teenagers for Christmas but if the netbook touches do the same thing then may go with that. I will say though- really like the iphone... probably just going to go with the ipod touches since I know and understand that technology.
Rockfordmom
They sometimes have deals where you get a giftcard if you purchase an ipod, check Target & Best Buy's ads. I had a friend that didn't buy her ipod shuffle from Apple and took it to the Apple store to get it fixed because it was broke and they took it and gave her a new one, she said their customer service was awesome.
