junior01 Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Is this a good camera. I am a mom just wanting to take pictures with the kids and around town, and upload them to the computer. What is anyone's opinion. Please help and thank you so much in advance.
peppysfireball Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 I hated my easyshare so bad, I bought a new Samsung. The software locked up my computer daily. It took rechargeable batteries that would run down after a few pics. I bought a camera with a battery pack, I love it. It's a Samsung i85.
tokanm Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 I personally like Kodak...many people here do not. I have seen great deals on Tigerdirect.com or Buy.com. My friend has the 10mp with 5X zoom and I think it is a Z model, the pics are gorgeous and it has the easy share ability as well.
Suzy Crampton Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Love, love my Kodak! Both kids have them and love theirs too! You have to buy the better batteries but have never had a problem with it. Very easy to 'share' pics online!
noehlp Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Moving this to the Deal Discussion forum as it's not an online deal.
junior01 Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 Thanks so much everyone, sorry patty,
jeninpa Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 I have taken pics with several Kodak camera's & I can never get any good pics with them. I take a lot of pics, people even pay me to take their pictures, lol. I would highly suggest this camera: Fujifilm FinePix S1800 12.2 MP Digital Camera with 18x Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 3-Inch LCDhttp://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41-yvkFqVZL._SL500_AA300_.jpgby Fuji3.2 out of 5 stars See all reviews (16 customer reviews)(the reviews don't look great but a lot of the bad reviews are for stupid reasons, lol)List Price: $259.95Price: $179.99 & eligible for free shipping with Amazon PrimeYou Save: $79.96 (31%) Using just an online photo editing program here are some pics I took with it: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs1360.snc4/163240_1794260781167_1379106086_2003392_7184367_n.jpg close upshttp://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs393.ash2/67190_1759065701312_1379106086_1917509_2694787_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs653.snc3/32263_1490692352146_1379106086_1312597_5353015_n.jpg night time shot with the camera sitting on a table (so I didn't move it,lol)http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs568.ash2/149056_1710386164354_1379106086_1817680_5781985_n.jpg Any questions, just ask! My second recommendation if you do a lot of action shots (I wouldn't buy this for action shots, lol) would be a Panasonic Lumix. This is also depending on an amount you want to spend, since you mentioned the Kodak Easy Share I was assuming under $200.
Guest bluecamel1913 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Sony Cybershot works for me, great reviews on several reputable sites.
