So did anyone get Epic Mickey for the Wii? Did you like/dislike it. I got it but have not opened it yet. A friend got it and played it says its 1 player and not much fun.

Any thoughts whether I should keep it or just return it unopened???

Thanks

My sons ds15 and ds11 like it. It's one of those role playing games where you have to figure stuff out. It depends if you like those kinds of games.

Being a HUGE Mickey mouse collector/ fan, my teens got it for me about a mth ago. I hadnt opened it (not into 1 player games) but they finally did the other day. They LOVE it. 16 & 17yr olds. I believe its the highest ranking WII game of the year or something like that.

Can your character (Mickey?) "die" and you lose your progress? We aren't ready for anything where there is the stress of not making it to the next save point :)

Yes, Mickey does lose progress if he gets killed before finishing the current "quest". No way to save as you go along.

I got this game for my dh for Christmas. He's been off this past week and has put a lot of time into this game. He's been having a great time with it. The game isn't easy, but it is fun. The kids (age 5 and 2) have fun watching him play too.

My kids like it but its not one of their "go to games" I have not tried it but like 1 player progress type games so I want too.... My kids are 12/9/6 and they can all play it with no problems...actually sometimes the 6yr old is better with figuring out quest than the other two ;)

The colors are dark and it saddens me to see the "dark Disneyworld" but I am a big ol' dork !!

I think the darkness comes from the fact that you are in the world of the "forgotten" Disney characters. I think Mickey's goal is to save that world. My kids 8/7/5 (boys) like it but some of it is a little hard to catch on to.

Even to somebody in their 20s, this game was fun, challenging, and overall really well-made. I'd recommend this game to any age group.
