Newegg TV Replacement customer service experience?

I got my $219 32" TV from Newegg today with a hole in the box and a hole in the screen. :( I was so looking forward to getting it too.

I online chatted with a rep and they filed a claim on my behalf with UPS for damages and I requested a replacement rather a refund in case I dont find another $200 TV this month. About 5 days or so after the claim is done with UPS then tehre is a claim for a replacement and then the shipping time, provided a replacement TV is available. I think they will send uPS out to pick up the damaged one? IDK.

Has anyone had experience with replacements/refunds with Newegg?

Oh man! That stinks. I ordered one from them too and it is supposed to be here tomorrow.

 

I had to return a motherboard to Newegg because it was DOA. No problems at all requesting the RMA, but I did have to pay the shipping to send it back to them. They replaced it and I got it about a week later.
