jennybeanfrog Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 My first ever post. Here goes. Not sure on posting links. Tommy Hilfger http://usa.tommy.com/tommy/index.jsp They take an additional 40% off of everything today. Discount shows in cart. I got polos from the Sale section for about 16-17 bucks after using one of the two following codes for an additional 20% off. SBTH20NOV1 (only let me use it once)NOCRWD20 Hope I did this correctly!!Things seemed to be going fast!!
rebecca7675 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Wow! Your right! Lots gone already! Thanks!
rebecca7675 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Hmmm...when you bought stuff in the sale section did it take 40% off the sale price when you added it to the cart? My didn't take anything off.
jennybeanfrog Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 It did take 40% off, but the way they display stuff is really weird. BUT, yes for example, I ordered a womens rugby for 39.99 and they deducted 16.00 off, so I paid 23.99 plus tax. Total $25.61. From what I can tell, the other Tommy codes above can only be used ONE TIME EACH.
jennybeanfrog Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 As I said, the site is kind of wacky right now. Once it added in a shirt that I did NOT add to my cart and then it kept telling me that it was not available to ship to my region. I had to use extreme patience when dealing with the site this morning, but it was worth it. I ended up with 3 polos for $53.78 after the 40% and the additional 20%. Hope you can get it to work.
rebecca7675 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I did!! Thank you so much for the codes and the deal! You saved me a lot! :)
jennybeanfrog Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 Just noticed this today. I was charged sales tax on the full amount of my items. NOT the sales price. For instance; if I ordered a 39.99 item and had 40% off, I was charged tax on 39.99 NOT on 23.99! Not a huge difference on THAT order, but I placed 3 separate orders and was overcharged almost 8 bucks in sales tax. The first customer service rep I called said that ALL companies charge sales tax on the full price. I called back and got someone who took a look at the "glitch" and gave me a refund. Just wondering how much Tommy made on overcharging for sales tax yesterday??
