princess01 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I went into my local Walmart on my lunch break today, and they have tons of stuff in plastic with a sign on that the merchandise can't be purchased until Friday at 12:01! I only saw toys and clothing with plastic but didn't have time to venture to the electronics! I have never seen this done before - at least not this early in the week.

They have our store jam packed with stuff as high as the shelves will hold things, even brought out summer clearance clothes and jamed them in on racks.
lukesmom01 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 My DH was at Walmart last night and he said workers had hundreds of HDTV's on pallets moving them inside the store. He didn't have time to see where they were moving them or anything else.

ourhappyfamily4 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I looked at the spongebob ones that are going to be on sale for $4.00. They seemed alright. They were not the type that looks like they will shrink 2 sizes smaller after one wash.

peppysfireball Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Weren't they ones that were listed for sale already on walmart.com. I knew there was a list of a few. Many stores are selling already. I got my tv sunday at sears and it is a doorbuster. THey told me 10 of their doorbuster tv's are already marked down. The walmart I was in today had nothing out yet.
lukesmom01 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Just got back from my Wamart. The only TV they had for $198 was the emerson 19". The did have the 32" on a pallet and it looked like there was about 50 of them, maybe more. So that makes me feel a little better.

I saw the "Build a bear" wrapped in plastic with a sign. And other toys too
