I am waiting for their prices to drop too. They still haven't even matched what I want w/ the Target toy book prices and TRU. Come on Amazon!

Is it just me or are retailers holding out on us this year? Maybe its because the sales will be huge for bf and after (i hope) I need the sales to start and ads to leak!!!

Wow, I thought I was the only one holding things in my cart waiting for prices to drop. I must admit I am going crazy waiting on these sales and/or someone's ad to leak. Also am I the only one who contemplates buying something unnecessary just to get the $4.38 needed to get super savers shipping?

Last year Amazon had a competition going with Walmart. If they follow the same trend then perhaps once the Walmart prices start dropping (like this coming weekend electronic sale) then Amazon will up their game.

I just looked at my "movie" purchase from last year when they matched Walmart. I made the purchase on November 29th. The movies were $9.99 each. I think I am going to hold out, I have 111 items in my shopping cart.

I need to find Greys Anatomy seasons 1, 2, and hopefully 3 at a GREAT Price for a gift.
Anyone know if Amazon has these last year? Seems even the 1st season, from SIX years ago is still 20 and higher.. and the big multi season pack is like 209.oo so that isn't happening..

I will chime in on a toy that Jeninpa just posted in the toy thread. Radica 20Q Family Master Tournament Challenge - totally not a worthy game. I think I paid around $5 for it. I think I paid too much! We've tried to 'play' it a few times, and ya, not worth it imo, I'm sure my kids would agree. - the led thing, well only 1/2 of it was lit - so you could never read the full questions. Also, just the overall thing, not fun.

I bought some movies over Tgiving weekend and then bought more with the lightning deals after Tgiving weekend. I hope that they have the great prices like last year. It was so easy and convenient to order from Amazon! No lines, no shipping, no sales tax! )

lol - nah! I'm not mad. But I've been telling myself that I think my dd9 is growing out of Hannah Montana stage. However, she does watch the show several times a week - so I'm sure she'll be thrilled with the book. Thanks for all the recommendations! I paid $3.27, my luck it'll drop down to under $2. My brother has gotten in the tradition of buying one every year for christmas. So on Christmas Eve every year after we open presents, we have nerf war. Even my dad gets in on it.

im with you but with prime the advantage of shopping from home with free shipping and no tax is a reason for me to order from amazon vs going out! Plus the toys come "hidden" in a cardboard shipping box! If the DS finds it he still won't have a clue!

did anybody buy the super mario galalxy 2 in the lightning deal? it was $35. was pretty disappointed with the price. although target had it for the same price as early bird special, but was really hoping to get good deal on amazon. last year they had amazing prices, 49.99 wii games for 19.99. havent seen that yet. has anyone seen a lower price for SMG2? wondering if i should have waited.
