I totally enjoy all of his youtube videos. Seems his last video was at BestBuy doing a line check with the promise of more videos to come. Im afraid he may have been taken hostage by BestBuy management for revealing that there was no line and no one camping out due to the lackluster ad they put out. Maybe we should form a search party.

Glad to see you are still with us, black friday wouldnt be the same without you. Ive got a suggestion.. How about a Bigjimslade black friday 2010 prediction video. Like what ads do you think will roll out first based on past years, will we see deeper discounts, what will be the hot items, just your feelings on the upcoming season. Then we can see if you were right. Thanks for the time you put in on this. I for one look forward to your posts and videos.

Again everyone thanks for the kind words.

Doing a prediction video is a great idea. I know Brad likes to issue his own predictions so I will wait on him. I know my first video will be a recap of last year and some of my own thoughts so stay tuned.

Big Jim - Did you hold out and not go to BB as you were thinking? My friends and I scored pretty good at BB - reward for camping out for 43 hours I guess! We had fun though and plan to do the same this year.

I did not go to BB last year to shop. I did go to several BB to see what the lines were like and to the BB i go to check on my friends who has my tents and port a potty and such. There was nothing that I saw was worth going for on BF. Everything last year could be purchased on sales the week before or at Sams. I dont need computers since I have all Macs and I have a TV in every room in the house.

We will see what they have this year. With BB being the only game in town they have no motivation to put on great sales like they use to 3-6 years ago.

I scored some Pop-ups at Sears earlier this year, so we will be able to set up a command post for the laptops, but will still be looking for a portable generator cheap! Does anyone know of any deals on portables?

You are basically suffering from product saturation. It blurs one's ability to discern a good deal from an everyday sale. It is perfectly acceptable to fall into this category, especially in the economic climate we are in. There were a couple:):) of years where nothing was a bargain to me, but later on, i found it a worthy or noble deed to shop for others, and to keep the tradition alive.
