I am not really good a sticking to a budget, which is why I WILL NOT bring the checkbook or credit cards. I work part time and get paid the Friday before BF. Check will be about $400 and I will cash it on Wed. before Thanksgiving and by Friday evening every penny will be gone.

My sister does a budget of $150 per child. I don't do budgets. My son is almost 11 and his items cost more. For example his one item he will be getting this is is: $178. So he knows now, quantity is not always better. I'd blow a budget so I don't even try to put myself on one

I don't have a budget for BF. I buy whatever I want. To me, BF is all about having fun and shopping till I drop.

My goal is to get 10 xbox 360s so that will take a huge chunk of my budget. Maybe a few hundred on BF itself. Anything left will go towards more 360s.

I will usually buy for as many people on my list as possible. It's much nicer to get all that I can done that day. The past few years I think I've spent around $300. It really just depends on what I find in the ads and what else the store has for a good deal that wasn't in the ads.

I don't really have a budget either, if I think its a good deal and can use it one way or another, I'll buy one or two or three. Sometimes I even go back and get more after thinking about it.

My budget is 200.00 dollars or less. All won't is a DVD Recorder and Digital camera this year. I treating myself to Tai Chi classes this year.

Yep, my credit cards/cash will be tied up on the 22nd so I will have no funds available for that Friday.

My budget is $2,000. My son wants expensive things this year but then again when doesn't he. I am glad I have only one.

I am actually done with most of my shopping so I will prob just pick 1 or 2 things that are great deals and get them

I could never just pickup one or two items! Even when I write down my lists of what I want from each ad, I always walk out of there with several other items.

Not sure yet.. probably around $300-$400 at MOST! But I think I average $100 on previous BF's.

Well after seeing the Walmart BF ad, my budget is going to end up nonexistant. I want one of those dual screen car dvd players, a gameboy....man I could go on and on!

My budget is going to be 300-400. Although, we may just end up with one of the computers in the ad, so then the budget with be higher. I'm mostly going to be shopping for the non-electronic Black Friday items. I'm heading out either today, or sometime this weekend to put a few of the Little People sets on layaway(and as many other WM black friday items that I can find)

We don't have a budget either! We have a list of things we need to buy and we buy, last year we spent 5,000.00 that was lunch as well!!

Okay, I spend between 200.00 and 250.00 on each child. I have four.. So that's between 800.00 and 1000.00 Hubby I spend about 100.00 Family, relatives another 300.00 So there's my budget.. Unless I see something little for myself. HA!

I don't have a budget or set max, but I do have a thing called actual cash that will eventually run out. I can only spend what I have. Depending on how good the deals are, I can probably spend up to $500.

I never know what I will be spending till all the ads come out and I see what I want to buy, Then I make my list add up what it will come to and see if I like that number! hehehe

I never do budgets. I do make a list what I want from each store and basically know about how much I will spend. BUT when I actually get to the store, I always add more items!

Well, let's see... I buy my kids presents from their grandmother, aunt and us. Plus I usually get stuff for the grandkids too and maybe a family member or two. Probably around 3000.00 between all the stuff for everyone. (My mom and sister each give me 600.00 for the three kids and 400.00 for the four grandkids). I get to spend a lot of money and have all the fun plus the kids and grandkids get things that they definately want. Works well.
