mudd274
I am looking for an electric mobility scooter and was wondering what other people have and how long they hold a charge before having to be charged. So I can enjoy getting out more and be able to keep up with others. I have copd and cant walk very far. Does anyone know if bluecross blue shield will pay on. mgmckny
Talk to your insurance to see what they cover. Then if your dr writes the script be sure to go through and approved DME (durable medical equipment) provider. THere should be a listing on your ins cos. website. As the type usage the doctor said 4 wheels, not 3 and I am forever grateful. Yes, they take more area to turn around but if you are on uneven ground that 4 wheeler does much better. Also wish to note that I purchased a "demo" which cut down my out-of-pocket expense. Had a problem while on a trip and was able to stop by the factory where they took excellent care of both me and my scooter, at no cost to me. Highly recommend their scooters.
