RossMAN Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 This is a very hot deal, for comparison: NewEgg.com sells this for $55 plus $4.99 FedEx shipping. Amazon.com has it listed for $39.94 plus shipping.
ActuaryTm Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Personally highly recommend this headset. Very comfortable, and great sound quality at this price point.
naurto555 Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 get the buy.com visa card and you could get it for 7.99 plus shipping.
RossMAN Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Personally highly recommend this headset. Very comfortable, and great sound quality at this price point.[holding back laughter] How about the muffs, are they comfortable? They seem rather large and overbearing.

RossMAN Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Ok I'll take your word for it. I was tempted to order this through Amazon.com but no free shipping
ActuaryTm Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Another option (eCost). Believe when I purchased from eCost in February the price was closer to $33 shipped. Alternatively, you could wait for these to come back in stock. Essentially the same headset, just in the behind the neck style.
jamesave Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 I wonder if it can it be used for mp3 players..
ActuaryTm Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 I wonder if it can it be used for mp3 players..In what regard? Just listening? Certainly. The headset makes use of a standard 3.5mm connector.

Brad Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Even cheaper: Buy.com has just released a new 5% coupon good for ALL customers: http://www.gottadeal.com/Coupon/935 So that will save you $1.90 more bringing the cost down to $36.09 plus shipping :)
naurto555 Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Thanks for the update Brad :) and hey...1.90 goes a long way. Here's an old chinese saying: You save a dollar here and a dollar there and now you have 2 dollars.
naurto555 Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 btw is buy.com a division of amazon? I already got the amazon visa card and was wondering if i could also apply for the buy.com visa card and get the 30 dollar one time use off.
Brad Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 btw is buy.com a division of amazon? I already got the amazon visa card and was wondering if i could also apply for the buy.com visa card and get the 30 dollar one time use off.Nope. Not related so you can get both. Buy.com basically just copied Amazon's $30 GC promo.

I already got the amazon visa card and was wondering if i could also apply for the buy.com visa card and get the 30 dollar one time use off.Wouldn't that be sweet $36.09 - $30 Visa credit card = $6.09 + shipping? That would be a steal of a deal
ActuaryTm Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 So that will save you $1.90 more bringing the cost down to $36.09 plus shipping :)Am surprised the additional $1.90 hasn't pushed Ross over the edge.
RossMAN Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Am surprised the additional $1.90 hasn't pushed Ross over the edge.First I'd like to see this in store, I'll probably check the local BB and CC this weekend.
Brad Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 First I'd like to see this in store, I'll probably check the local BB and CC this weekend.I can't find them on either BB, CC, or CompUSA's site. I also wanted to look at them in person but I don't think they carry them.

I've never seen this particular Sennheiser headset at an office supply store, nor at any of the major electronic stores that Brad listed. You might try a more premium level store. For the Nyc area, Micro Center, or DataVision come to mind. Wish I had more choices to offer to you Oregonians.
