crowland Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Can anyone help me find a place to purchase a 2nd generation ipod shuffle (older square model). Would love, love, love to find a purple one. Thanks !
mgmckny Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Do you mean the little shuffles that had the clip? I didn't see any on the Apple site. I have one of the purple ones and love it (despite having a classic as well). I usually put a selection of favs or Christmas tunes and then use it at work. Smaller to move around with and less hassles...discretion is a plus.
crowland Posted December 30, 2009 Author Posted December 30, 2009 Yes, that's the one. Apple has revamped that style for the new smaller slimmer style for which I am not crazy about. I also want the older clip on style for exercising. I guess I am stuck with Ebay..............
Shortness Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Yes, that's the one. Apple has revamped that style for the new smaller slimmer style for which I am not crazy about. I also want the older clip on style for exercising. I guess I am stuck with Ebay..............The new one has the clip too. I wanted the 2nd generation too--for the same reason, but gave up finding one at a decent price, and found out this one clipped. I'm not crazy about the controls being on the headphones, but the unit itself worked great clipped on during a workout, and I didn't pull it out of my ear using the controls (which was what I was afraid of when I first opened it up). I do hope you find one, as I borrowed my dd's 2nd generation a lot and loved it. I offered to trade her, but mine is pink and she wasn't going for that.
mgmckny Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Have not ordered from this site ( or if I have I don't remember) but it was in my favorites and they list the shuffles, there is a purple 1g, I have a 2g but used to have a 1g so if it's for workouts it would work http://www.consumerdepot.com/pg_categories.asp?id=MPP&pagenum=3
