I *officially* finished Christmas shopping. Right now.

I could not pass up the Sims 3 for $29.99 that was linked on the front page as one of Wal-Mart's last minute deals, and that was it! I am done! Everything is wrapped with the exception of that game, which should be here tomorrow or Thursday.

Now...the only problem is I will probably WANT to go buy more. But I am going to hold myself back!

How is everyone else doing so far?

I was all done last week........until I got a Zhu Zhu from walmart.com yesterday! Sooooo then I had to go to Walmart today to get Bopit and a Nerf gun to make things even for the other kids! Now I'm done with 21 gifts for each kid!

That was my problem too! I kept finding something for one...so I had to add more to the others! I'm locking myself in today...no shopping!

I've been done since last week (my "official" time). Still doesn't stop me from looking, however, I have stopped myself. I did pretty well this year. Didn't impulse buy as much as the other years. It's just my kids are 15 and 9 1/2 and want the more expensive stuff (ipod touches, xbox 360 games, ipod Nano, itune cards, etc. ). Soo everything cost double than other years. So even though they have a lot of gifts its not as much as other years... But I spent the same. GRRR lol

I'd like to think I am done, but probably not. I have been struggling to find time to wrap this year. I have been collecting gifts all year and have been digging it out a few at a time to wrap. I kept thinking the my daughters had more than my son so I kept picking up things for him. Now it seems like most of the gifts under the tree are for DS. I need to finish wrapping tonight and see if I can even it out with creative wrapping techniques. Otherwise I will be off to the store. Who am I kidding? I will be shopping tonight either way. A friend asked me to drop something off at her house tonight and while I am out I will probably at least stop to get the earmuffs DD6 is asking for. And maybe a pair each for the other kids, too. And maybe a couple other little things....

Now, the week before Christmas, DD6 keeps coming home with new items for her wish list. She used my MP3 player on the way to grandma's last week and now wants her own. She also wants an ipod, DS, and cell phone! She is getting a baby doll and accessories. When she asked for a DS I asked her if she knew what that was. She didn't, but a girl in her class wants one so she does, too. I think her gifts are about to get more expensive.

That is what I am running into as well. When we said pick 3-4 things to go with the cruise, my oldest chose an itouch, futon and a $200 camera. I'm like....:eyepoppin

Thought I was done until my dd brought home a letter from "santa" from school and he told he would his hardest to bring her the princess phone she asked him for, that I guess she forgot to mention to me and dad, lmao. So yeah, one more thing.

Too funny, you have to love it. I keep hearing Oh yah! I wanted this...I'm like sorry kids it is OVER.

My daughter age 9 was on the phone with her friend last night and was talking about christmas. Of course I heard her talking about what she hoped was under the tree... She said he really wanted a pair of fuzzy toe socks. WHAT? Where do I find those? I guess your toes go into them like gloves? Plus fuzzy ones? HELP> lol

we don't allow any last minute changes to the list, once it is sent if they think of more or forget they are sol

Ditto that! Once the lists are in there are is no changes, lol. I should be done picking stuff up by 2pm....if DD10's Futon is at Walmart by then, lol. I went last night & bought DS6 a new booster seat after he was done, lol.
