Amazon.com Returns?

Found an item $20 cheaper at Kmart than I bought it for on Amazon. Called them and they said they don't price match anymore, thought I did that before? So now I have to send it back to them, anybody have any experience with this? I won't have to pay shipping back will I? It was free shipping to me, so I assume it will be free back to them.

So I have to pay to ship something back to them! Most places put in a pre-paid Return shipping label, they don't do that?

I'm with Conj... I have always had to pay return shipping. Probably why I never return anything!

That's fine. I will return it to Wal-Mart after I get it in.

You wont be able to take it to walmart the sku numbers wont match.

Most SKU #'s are the same. I will just compare the one that I price match at Wal-Mart to the Amazon one, then if return the one that is the same for the full price at Wal-mart.

I dont see how your gonna return it for full price at Walmart, their policy clearly says no receipt you get a giftcard for the lowest amount the item was sold for.

I agree. So many dishonest people out there trying to get back a penny any way they can and Walmart has too lenient of a return policy. No wonder they are getting so strict,.

Very few places include a prepaid return label--I can only think of Zappos and Sephora right now. If the merchant also has a B&M store, that is when I try to return. I don't know how big an item that you have to return, but would you still come out ahead if you pay to return it?

If you do decide to return to Amazon, opt for their UPS shipping label. It's not free, but, for me, it's always been a few dollars cheaper than PO shipping costs.

The only place I get free returns is American Eagles 77kids. I agree pay the shipping back or keep it depending on what the deal is and which ends up saving you more money.

I didn't know that about AE. I guess I always return to the store. I wish that more merchants offered the free return shipping, but I'm sure that it is built into the price of the item.
