Dang kid. could have got the great BF deals... but NO, now she adds it to her want list. <sigh>

looking for a DS lite (not a DSI).

she already has games.

I did see the TRU 147 deal, but would like to keep it in the $100 range, or the $129 with something extra she will use...

ideas?

Well if you are going to buy one I would go for the DSI. We bought the son a Dslite last year and now he wants the DSI. UGH and he doesn't ask for much so I am off to try to find the best deal. Also check you local game stop or whatever you have in your area.

she does not want the DSI. she was specific. I even asked. we are a pretty gaming oriented house... so I trust that she knows what she wants.

Though the DSi was just released earlier this year, Nintendo has already announced the next iteration of the wildly popular handheld: the DSiXL (also known as the DSiLL in Japan). Revealed at a press event in Tokyo, the new DS will feature larger screens than its predecessor but few other improvements.
