Then, the longer I went without posting, the more difficult it became to come back. Money has been really tight the past few years, and while bargain shopping sees us through, it is on true basic necessities, when I can find deals. Perimeter perusing for the joy of it has been on the back burner during these times. I'll admit. I had forgotten these forums are far more than being simply about bargain hunting. I am thankful to have come across the Facebook Fan Page, and being encouraged to return to the forums on the discussion boards there. I'll do my best to not forget about the fellowship found here. Nice to meet you as well!However I didn't start the sub-forum, that's for sure.Merely composed the first post of tips that Brad puts up to start each new Perimeter Perusing thread... ...and much of that information is way out of date......and then welcomed others who did the same and with them helped tutor those who wanted to learn. But I haven't practiced perimeter perusing in a while, so I would need to learn what new things are happening now. I do feel the basic methods for tracking down clearance at Target is still valid though. The details, such as the ending numbers on the clearance prices, may have changed over time. I think with experience perusers can roll with the changes though. I have confidence in them, and in sharing what changes they may find have occurred. Mileage may vary. As can be seen above, Brad has asked me to put together an updated perimeter perusing explanatory post. I am happy to do so, but I have seriously not perimeter perused in several years. So, for those who have been doing so consistently and recently... What changes from the initial explanatory post have you noticed? I had stated that the ending numbers on the clearance stickers have changed, but truthfully, that was more a guess on my part than fact. It will be really helpful to have y'all's observations posted here, for me to go out and verify for myself and then combine into a new post. Thanks in advance to all who chime in!
