I don't think I need 16 ft cables, but am definitely looking for some HDMI cables to go w/ some of my new purchasesThese are the best cables you can buy imo just tie them up that's what I did I can't fathom that they didn't sell out yet, they go for over $100 each...
EazyE Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 True, I guess I'll go for it then. Any additional promo codes that you can add on to this?
Roethlisberger Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I just wanted to throw this out there... (forgive me for this not being a longer and more detailed explanation...I am somewhat in a hurry...) Don't be fooled by fancy terms and technical talk, 'cheapo' and 'generic' HDMI cables that can be found on sites like eBay for easily more than half of standard retail price are EXCELLENT alternatives to name brand cables like Monster. Now, when I say that, it is more pointed towards cables 10' - 12' or less. (If you are in need of a 15' plus cable, then the more durable 'high end' cables do respond SLIGHTLY better in tests...but even then the results are VERY CLOSE to identical.) I'll give a perfect example... I run a home based video game and publishing business. Specifically related to my publishing office, I have a pretty high end setup, and use a 32" LCD HDTV as a second computer monitor so when I have customers in, I can show them on that screen what kind of products I offer and how the finished product will look. I just completed my remodel in the last thirty days, and was in need of HDMI cables to run from my computer and from my Blu-Ray player to the 32" TV. On eBay, I purchased three 20' HDMI cables. The cost each: $12.50 (FREE SHIPPING) Again, that was a 20' generic @ $12.50 compared to the 16' Monster cable ON SALE??? at $29.99. I'm not trying to 'bash' anyone who wishes to purchase these more expensive name brands, but I would just like everyone to be aware there are much less expensive alternatives out there which perform just as good as these name brand cables are far less the cost.

GREAT PRICE AND I LOVE MONSTER CABLES Will this work for the Wii and a tv that has 1080 P?
angelic680 Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 (edited) Will this work for the Wii and a tv that has 1080 P?You dont need a HDMI for the wii.....Wii uses the colored connectors...So you will need this.... http://www.amazon.com/HD-Link-Wii-nintendo/dp/B000LFJN7K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1260201994&sr=8-2 But IMO you don't really need HD wii cables they only give out 480p not a major difference compared to the PS3, and the xbox.... for the cable box, Blu Ray, PS3, Xbox, you will need a HDMI and yes it will work. angelic680 Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 I need that plug but i need it for 1080P not 480P.The wii will not put out 1080p....the most the wii can do is 480p.
Deal Grabber Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 The wii will not put out 1080p....the most the wii can do is 480p.Ohhhhh.No wonder i cant find one.So im guessing i dont really need a cable then.If the cable is only gonna give 480 thats not gonna be much different than what im seeing now without a cable.Thxs Angelic.Your always so guick to answer and very helpful.
