first act electronic drum set

HAs anyone any reviews of the drum set that Target has on black friday? Ds 15 says he wants drums, but no way and I thought this might be a decent substitute. I think it's a fleeting want. Plus he's always listening to his ipod and this set has a place to hook up mp3 with it.

I was looking at this too but the one review I found on Amazon wasn't good. It is from the toy section I believe but would love to hear what others have to say.

we looked into them a little - to young for 15.

 

too young for my 9 & 11 who play percussion at school...

It's actually in the electronics section. At one point he wanted the drum set for the guitar hero but I really wasn't looking forward to the drum set being in the living room, so I thought this might suffice.

Are you looking forward to it taking up less room or making less noise?

 

DS demonstrated for me that the tapping would drive me nuts, even if the kids used headphones...... so if it is noise, this is still annoying....

 

I *did* look into it... as the kids need to practice more...

First act makes toys not musical instrumentss, so therefore the reviews wouldn't be good as people would expect them to act like musical instruments. They are not good for anyone but a small child wanting to play pretend.
