bettyn100
Actually the one at target is better. The "S" after 340 means it speaks the street names whereas the one from newegg does not.

The "S" after 340 means it speaks the street names whereas the one from newegg does not. This one speaks its in the over view... The TomTom XL 340 comes loaded with advanced features to make your day on the road easier! The extra-wide 4.3” touchscreen display lets you see more of your route and surrounding areas, and the turn-by-turn voice directions help you find your destination without having to take you eyes off the road. A large built-in speaker provides optimal audio quality without distortions, so you hear your instructions loud and clear. The device mounts quickly to your windshield with a simple heavy-duty suction cup mount, which can be folded neatly away for extra portability. Yes it speaks....they all pretty much do (the typical "turn left in 1 mile" etc...). It does not interpret and speak the STREET NAMES. Only the 340S does.
